Ingram, will leave next Friday for Greenwich with their daughter, Barbara. Their son, Harvey Jr. a student at Yale university, will join them there. : ¥ » i 8. 2 o ” * Miss Brown was graduated from Rosemary Hall school, Greenwich, in 1938. She attended Sweet Briar college, Virginia, during her freshman year and since has been attending leland Stanford university in California where she is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She will be graduated this year. She and her twin sister, Mrs. William H, Sweney Jr., made their debuts in 1938 at a garden reception at the Greenwich home of her parents, ' Lieut. Ingram was graduated from the Lawrenceville school in 1934 and from the U. S, Naval academy at Annapolis in 1938, For three years after his graduation from ' the academy, until last December, he served on the U. S. 8. Oklahoma, He is now assigned to a new ship which was commissioned recently.

Paintings Sent Here for Safe-Keeping

THE ILL WIND OF THE WAR has blown some good to Indian apolis in the form of five new paintings that have just been hung: in the large east gallery of John Herron Art museum. The paintings were sent here by an eastern collector, Edwin D. Levinson and his family of New York, for safe-keeping while/the war continues. Mr,: Levinson, in sending the paintings, is following the policy of many ' prominent collectors in: the East who are shipping their collections inland for the duration. The five pictures are works of artists not before represented at Herron. Two are by Dutch artists—“Portrait of a Young Man" by Franz Hals and “Interior With Figures” by Pieter de Hoogh. The others are a landscape by Theodore Rousseau, “Portrait of Archibald Smith” by Sir Henry Raeburn and “Portrait of a Youth” by an une : known Florentine artist of the 16th century. PR . F a i : .
