New Jersey st., is sponsored by the Indiana Conference Woman's Society of. Christian Service of which Mrs. Orien W. Fiter is president. Former Fifer Home

The big frame house now being redecorated and set in order for the girls is the former home of the Fifer family. The family occupied the parsonage for 10 years when Dr. Fifer was the pastor of the nearby Central Avenue Methodist church. The Fifer children grew up there and two were married from the house. Now Mrs. Fifer is constantly in.and out of the homestead, not as its mistress, but as WSCS president. Called Esther hall and Deaconess home, it will be maintained chiefly for girls of the low income bracket. Very active in helping to launch the project are the 16 Wesleyan Service guilds of young business and professional women of the city. The guilds will give a banquet in the house April 17. Mrs. Daily in Charge { Mrs. Grace Daily of Tulsa, Okla. for 20 years a house mother for sororities - and fraternities, has taken up residence in Esther hall. With Mrs. Daily in charge, Mrs.

Yes, thank God. We have a Saviour, who is “touched with the feelifig of our infirmities, who knows all our weaknesses” and “Who was in all points tempted as The Gospel for “Laetare” Sunday records one of the “mighty deeds” of Jesus. Through this evidence of godly power, Jesus reveals that He can meet all the needs and wants of men.
