Dr. Robert P. Tristram Coffin, New England poet who received the Pulitzer prize for poetry in 1936, will read and interpret some of his poems at 8 p. m. Friday at a public meeting in the Indiana university extension center, 122 E. Michigan st. During February and March, Dr.

pus as visiting poet lecturer. He delivered the Patten lectures at the university last year. In recent years Dr. Coffin. has read before many colleges, clubs and schools throughout the country. He has written biography and history as well as poetry, fiction and critical essays.
