The Americanism and Knightstown Home committees of the Bruce P.-Robison auxiliary to the American Legion ‘will entertain with a dinner and program Sunday for divisions 29 and 30 of the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors’ Children’s Home in Knightstown. The program, beginning at 2 p. m. in the chapel, will include a flag presentation by Mrs. Walter Buenaman, unit president; musical selections by Miss Dorothy ‘Albright, pianist and member of the Junior auxiliary, and a patriotic sound film, sponsored by C. Eliza A. Blaker Club Luncheon Is March 7

The Eliza A. Blaker club, an organization composed of the faculty and students of the old Teachers’ college of Indianapolis which is

the College of Education at Butler university, will hold its annual birthday luncheon, March 17, at 12:30 p. m. in the Columbia club. This luncheon is held each year in celebration of the birthday of the late Mrs. Blaker, who organized the Indianapolis free kindergartens and ‘founded the Teachers’ college. Mrs. Blaker servéd as superintendent of the free kindergartens and as ‘president of the college from 1882 until her death in 1926. ‘The program will include a book review, “Big Family,” (Bellamy Partridge) by Mrs. Howard J. McDavitt and a report on the Eliza A. Blaker Memorial fund by Mrs. A. W. Bowen, chairman of the fund committee.
