League Studies Soldiers’ Vote
A possible bottleneck in the opportunity of soldiers to vote by absent voter’s ballot is being pointed out by the Indiana League of Women Voters. In a letter to State Attorney General George N. Beamer and Judge Fred C. Gause and Edwin H. Smith, members of the State Election Board, the League points out that
a large number of men may find themselves defranchised as a result of their induction into military service before they were registered
