Native Hoosier Is Dead at 93
MRS. MINNIE STARK died in her home at Madison Saturday after a five weeks’ illness. She was 93 and had lived in Madison most of her life. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in‘Madison and the Altar Society. Funeral services will be conducted at North Madison tomorrow at 9 a. m. Burial will be there. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Hill, Mrs. Richard Decker, and Mrs, Morris Gordon, all of this city; two sons, William and Charles of Madison; five grandchildren; five great-grand-children, and a sister, Mrs. Fanny Wolfanger of Indianapolis.

He was a member of Holy Crass Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society, and the Knights of Columbus. Married to Addie Walters in 1900, the couple lived at the N. State St. address. Mrs. Rose Etta Snider, wife of Chauncey, retired, Indianapolis policeman, died yesterday at her farm home near Morristown. She was 170. A resident of this city for 35 years, she was born in Morgan County. Her husband retired last November after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Indianapolis Policemen’s Association. Other survivors include a son, Charles Decham of this city, and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary O'Leary and Mrs. Katherine Stethem, both of New Yerk. Serial numbers of 168 auto tires stolen from the East Side Chevrolet, Inc. 5436 E. Washington St., were sent today to other dealers with the request that police be notified if the tires are offered for sale. Theft of the [tires during the week-end was reported by Paul A. Kuhn, general manager of the firm, who valued the tires at $1680. Detective Sergt. Howard Sanders found that the basement room where the tires had been stored was entered after a hole had (been.cut through a wall board.
