War will not hit the variety of foods available to families taking part in the Food Stamp plan in the Feb. 1-28 period. The nationally designated foods for February are the same as those listed in January. The list includes butter, fresh pork (except that cooked or packed in metal or glass containers), fresh grapefruit, pears, apples, oranges, fresh vegetables (including potatoes), corn meal, shell eggs, dried prunes, hominy (corn) grits, dry edible beans, wheat flour, enriched wheat flour, self-rising flour, enriched self-rising flour, and whole wheat (Graham) flour.
