If you were intending to stick around the old fireplace tonight, settle back in your easy chair and listen to the radio, you certainly picked the right night. For instance, two of the top dramatic programs on the air, Cecil B. DeMille’s “Radio Theater” and the “Cavalcade of America” show have this to offer: At 8o’'clock (WFBM), Mr. | DeMille presents : | Cary Grant, | = Claude Rains, Evelyn Keyes (remember GWTW) and James Gleason in an adaptation of the hit picture, “Here Comes Mr, Jordan.” This story is truly a blend of ro-| mance, laughter, drama and more so, fantasy. In a more serious vein, the “Cavalcade of America” program will present Madeleine Carroll at 9:30 o'clock (WIRE) in “Tomorrow and Tomorrow,” a story based on the Old Testament story of the prophet]
Elisha.

old reprobate living in the England of long ago will be offered by Orson

In that city, where high sounding adjectives have been overworked and “super-duper” radio programs have been staged, Parks Johnson and Wally Butterworth will take their microphone. The broadcast will be from sound stage seven at Columbia Pictures. Those to be interviewed compose recently completed picture, “Trinidad,” including Brian Donlevy, Joan Bennett, Franchot Tone, Gregory Ratoff, Joe E. Brown and Claire Trevor. If basketball is your game, then WIBC is the spot on your dial ab 7:30 o'clock tonight. At that time, a description of the Indiana-Michigan tilt, will be broadcast. The same station has a lineup of well-known name bands for this week’s “Spot< light Bands” program, too, heard nightly at 9:15 o'clock. This week's schedule is: Dick Jurgens, tonight, Jan Savitt, tomor= row; Art Kassel, Wednesday; Xave ier Cugat, Thursday, and Charlie Barnet, Friday.
