Junior Assembly Committee Chosen For Christmas Party at the Marott
PROBABLY THE FIRST GESTURE of the students returning from out-of-town schools for the Christmas holidays will be to sort out the multitude of invitations for Christmas parties that have been accumulating in
“job lots” for the past few weeks. One of the Marger events will be the annual Christmas party of the Junior ALSely on Dec. 20 at the Marott Hotel. Mrs. William Byram Gates, Assembly sponsor, has announced the committee for the dance. It will include Misses Jean Faulconer, Jo Overbay, Nina Lockwood and Margaret Miller, Paul Ragan, William Lieber, David Welch and Austin Gillespie. . Dancing will be from 8 p.m. to midnight in the hotels ballroom. Special guests will be former members of the Assembly who are home from schools and colleges for the holidays. Mrs. Gates also has announced that the Christmas parties for her regular classes will be at the Propylatum tomorrow, Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons of this week. Entertainment will be presented by carclers and decorations will carry out the Christmas theme. A Christmas party will be held at the Woman's Department Club ballroom Saturday night for members of the freshmen
class.

Mr. and Mrs. Theodore L. Locke expect their children home Friday for the holidays—Ted arriving from Dartmouth and hig sister, Elsic Ann, from Indiana University. Miss Mary Beth Harrison, who attends Indiana, left this weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Harrison, for their home in Dayton, Wyo. The Harrisons were the house guests of Dr. and Mrs. Gayle B. Wolfe while they were here. Miss Sue Ann Eveleigh returns Friday from Mount Holyoke College to spend the vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl F. Eveleigh.
Tea at Adams' Home
AMONG PARTIES planned for the younger set is the dance Saturday at the Woodstock Club which Mrs. Julia L. Darlington is giving for her son, John, and Misses Agnes and Martha Allg. On the following day several teas and open houses are planned. Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Adams will entertain with a tea for their daughter, Martha Lois, and Misses Eleanor Dickson Frenzel, Phyllis Behringer and Mary Johnson. The four girls will be hostesses, on the 30th, at a dance in the Mdianapolis Athletic Club. The Hulbert J. Smiths have sent invitations for an open house that day from 5 to T p. m. for their daughter, Patricia, who arrives Saturday from Smith College. Thomas Taggart and his sister, Miss Luey Taggart, will entertain at dinner for Mr. Taggart's daughter, Eve, who will be home from Bradford Junior College. The party will attend the hockey game at the Coliseum afterwards. On Christmas Day, Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Weise will give a tea from 5 to 7 p. m. for their daughter, Elizabeth.
