HOLLYWOOD, Dec. 1. — Under the tentative title “Lady Killer,” Charlie Chaplin has begun work on the scehario for his next production, a comedy adaptation on. the Bluebeard theme. The chief character is said to have been suggested by the career of Henri Landru, the French criminal. The film is expected to go into production next spring. Chaplin, an owner - member of United Artists Distributing Corp., is also reported to be considering making two films in which he will not appear.
