THREE SISTERS British Delay in Putting U..S.-Built. Planes
STORE'TO OPEN
Starts Business Tomorrow In New Building -at “17-19 N. linois.
-An elaborate new women's apparel store, to be known as the Three Sisters, will open for business to morrow morning in a new building at 17-19 N. Illinois St; The new structure, erected at the site of the old Apollo Theater, is unique in modern design with a solid limestone front dressed in a wide expanse of display windows. The old theatér building was razed six months ago to make way for the new structure which was just completed yesterday. Three Sisters, which. operates stores in other Indiana cities, including Muncie, Lafayette and Hammond, will carry only women’s ready-to-wear merchandise. - The second floor of the store; approached from an ornate winding stairway along a solid wall of mirrors, will contain displays of high- -- er quality apparel. ; The main floor will display, under modern fluorescent lighting, a complete stock of women’s sports wear and accessories. The third department of the store is in the basement where popular priced merchandise will be handled. The manager will be Paul Madison, who has béen in the retail business here for the last nine years. The assistant manager will be J. Yohler, also an Indianapolis resi‘dent. R. W.
