<Cents-an-Hour Increase Granted as Wage . Dispute Ends.

—An agreement provi Ig wage increases ‘of ‘nine ‘cents an hour for 45,000 Pennsylvania shop workers, was announced today by P. D. Reese, system president of the Brotherhood - of Railroad Shop Crafts of America. : Mr, Reese said the agreement was reached by a negotiating’ committee on a basis proposed by President Roosevelt’s ‘fact finding board in the railway wage dispute. The sdgreement was |signed,. he said, by the general managers of the railroad’s four operating regions. Under the recommendations of the fact-flinding board, non-operating _, employees ‘were awarded increases of cenfs an hour, retroactive to Sept| 1, 1941.
