Dr. Frank C. Mann; director of

Dr. Mann will speak in the auditorium.of the State Board of Health on the Indiana Medical Center campus. The lecturship is sponsored by Phi Beta Pi, medical fraternity. Members of the medical profession

Dr. Mann's subject will be “The Circulation ot the Liver,” a subject on which he is noted for his outstanding work, He was the first man to remove the liver and his work was considered essential to the discovery of insulin. He also is known for his work on surgical shock and on the physiology of the duodenum. Dr. Mann was graduated from the I. U. School of Medicine in 1913. He is a native of Decatur. Dr. Ernest Rupel is chairman of
the Phi Beta Pi lectureship commit-
tee. Other committee members are Dr. H. H. Wheeler, Dr. H.. F. Dunlap and Dr. William Woods.
