Evangelism
Tenn., a layman and secretary of the commission on evangelism of the Methodist Church, will address ian | interdenominational laymen’s evangelistic conference here ‘Tuesday. The conference will be at 7:30 p. m., in the Roberts Park Methodist Church with laymen and ministers | of all the Protestant churches in attendance. It has been arranged by the laymen’s committee of the Church Federation and the committee chairman, the Rev. E. F. Shake, Laymen felt the need of training during the National Christian Mission and as a résult requested Tuesday’s conference, Dr. Howard J. Baumgartel of the Church Federation says. Fred Hope of Elat, Africa, who for 30 years taught a mission industrial school for boys, will tell of his work tomorrow at 10:30 a. m. in the IRVINGTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. Soldiers Invited To Roberts Park
The United States Flag and colors of the various American Legion Posts will be draped about the altar for the Armistice Day. Services tomorrow at 7:45 p. m. in the Roberts Park Methodist Church. A delegation of 50 soldiers from Ft. Harrison, members of all local legion posts ‘and auxiliaries, | veterans of World War I and the Spanish American War will be special guests. The Rev. Sumner L.
