Well, for a wonder, every one of the boys stayed until. the last. sundae was downed at Josephine’s Ice Créam Parlor this week. But that Redhead, he went and picked Iowa to beat our In-. diana boys, even after Fergie told him Billy Hillenbrand, our Evansville Express, was going to. run wild. That was just a beginning, though, because almost before Fergie knew it, he popped out with Northwestern to beat Minnesota and then he was afraid to say anything. But Grange backed him up so it was a wide-open split. Things went along smoothly for awhile then until Grange, the Great Dissenter, said Michigan State instead of Missouri, then came right back with Navy instead of Penn. It was really a love fest, this meeting af the home of ha original Football Sundae. The boys agreed on everything un the session had practically adjourned, but right in the middle the leave-taking, both our Eddie and Red popped out with Utah over Colorado. : Fergie didn’t leave until it was all over.
