ters in the Evangelical and Re formed Church, died today in h home, 2545 Union St. She was and had been ill several months, Mrs. Gunnemann was born in Indianapolis, the daughter of Herman and Anng Amt. She was a member of the Pleasant Run Boulevard “Evangelical and Reformed Church. She also was president of the Women's Guild of the church and teacher of the ladies’ class, Funeral Monday

Survivors are her husband, Louis; a daughter, Mrs. Leon Baumer, In. dianapolis; two sons, the Rev. Louis - Gunnemann, Lafayette, and the Rev. Edwin Gunnemann, ion, O.; two sisters, Mrs. Will Baumer and Mrs. ‘Ben Stuvel; two brothers, Harry and George Amt, and four grandchildren, all of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p. m. in the G: H. Reruiam Funeral Home, and at : . m. in the Pleasant Run Church.

GEORGE GULLION DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

A resident of Indianapolis 14 years, George Burtin Gullion died yesterday in home, 3042 Ralston Ave,, after an illness of several years. He was a ¢ nter, Mr. Gullion, who was 58, was a native of Boone County. Services will be held at 2 p. m. tomorrow in the Moore & Kirk Northeast Mortuary and at 3 p. m. in the Christian Church at Rosston. Burial will be there, Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Vernie E. Gullion; a son, Kenneth W. Gullion, and two daughters, Mrs. Doris Rahn and Miss Mary Louise Gullion, all of Indianapolis.

E. RAY CLEMENT OF A. P. BUREAU DIES

E. Ray Clement, traffic bureau chief of the Indianapolis office of the Associated Press, died yesterday in his home, 4209 BE. 35th St. He was 36, | Mr. Clement had served in Associated Press offices in Dallas, New Orleans, Kansas City, Mo., and New York before coming to Indianapolis two years ago. He was born in Sherman, Tex. Survivors are his wife, Irene 8, and two daughters, Lenore Rae and Carol Irene. Funeral services and burial will be in New Orleans.

MINNIE A. CONNOR BURIAL TOMORROW

‘Mrs. Minnie A. Connor, 923 Prospect St., died yesterday after a brief - illness. She was 68 and had been a resident here 23 years. Mrs... Connor had been employed at the Central State Hospital here for eight years and was a member of the Elwood Presbyterian Church. She was born in Elwood. Services will be held at 1:30 Pp m. tomorrow in the J. C. Wilson Funeral Home, with burial in Elwood. Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Martin Lang Sr. three nephews and six nieces, all of Indianapolis.

FORMER TREASURER CONVICTED UPSTATE

HUNTINGTON, Ind. Oct. 11 (U. P.)—A jury of seven men and five women today found Mrs. Pauline Fairchild, ex-Huntington County Treasurer, guilty of embezzling more than $23,000 during 1938 and 1940. The jury recommended that the court fine her $1000 and suspend a sentence of one to five years. Mrs. Fairchild was at liberty under a $15,000 bond previously posted.

R. R. HINESLEY DIES HERE AT 54

Chief Clerk in Office of Building Commissioner Was City Native.

Russell R. Hinesley, 54-year-old chief clerk in the office of City Building Commissioner, died yesterday in his home, 4735 Rookwood Ave. Mr. Hinesley; who formerly was a painter and contractor, had been an employee of the building commissioner’s office since 1933. He was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church and Calvin Prather Lodge NT, F & A.M. A lifelong Indianapolis resident, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Hinesley; four sons, Thomas E.,, Charles J., James L. and Gordon R. Hinesley; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Todd and Miss Lois Hinesley; three brothers, John T, George W. and Charles W. Hinesley, and a sister, Mrs. Ken-|E neth Reed, all of Indianapolis.

MARY B. COUCHMAN, HERE 20 YEARS, DIES

Mrs. Mary Blanche Couchman, wife of the Rev. Alvin M. Couchman, a retired Methodist minister, died today in her home, 308 N. Gladstone Ave. after an illness of two and a half years. She was 78 and had been a resident of Indianapolis for 20 years. She attended the Methodist Church. Mrs. Couchman was born in Louisville, Ky. Funeral services will be held Monday in the home and at Farmersburg, Ind. Burial will be there. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Consuelo Dunmeyer of Indianapolis and Mrs. Jessie C. Diggs of Austin, Tex., and a granddaughter, ; Mary Prances Travis, Indianapolis physician.

DANCE IS ARRANGED FOR SERVICE GROUPS

Service men stationed in and near Indianapolis will dance again with

Service Men’s Association, Inc, Members of the association and their wives have planned a second dance for 100 men each from Ft. Harrison, the Billings Hospital and the U. S. Naval Armory, to be given next Saturday in the Artillery Armory, 2000 Madison Ave. Assisting will be the Service Men's Club and the City recreation department. Members of the association and their wives will he’ hosts and hostesses. There will be an entertainment program and refreshments.
