Plan Classes For First Aid Instructors
Executives of the local chapter of the American Red 'Cross have announced plans for recruiting and training additional instructors to meet the increasing demand for first aid instruction. Qualifications for enrollment in an instructor’s course are as follows: A candidate must be at least twenty years ojd, must have satisfactorily completed the standard course and have an advanced certificate issued within the last six months. After passing a fifteén hour instructor’s course, the candidate is eligible for appointment as.an. instructor. He will then be. expected to teach at least one class a year in junior, standard or advanced Red Cross first aid. Ivan 8. Glidewell, chapter director of first aid and accident prevention, is in charge of a special advanced instructor’s preparatory course for those with the above
