' Times Special WASHINGTON, Sept, 16.—Rep. William H. Larrabee (D, Ind.), the only Hoosier in either House who voted both for the draft and its extension, is not .in favor of the new $3,583,900,000: tax Bill, he declared today. . In a statement, the Indiana Congressman condemned the measure on the grounds that it ignores “ability to pay™ The bill has bee attacked by Sreanized labor, par. » ticularly the C. I. O., on the basis. Rep. Larrabee would favor in stead a “gross profits tax” both for financing defense and old-age pension payments. = “At a time when there are some who are certain of making vast profits from national defense production, while others are unfortun-

from economic maladjustment, I feel that my gress profits tax plan is fully justified,” Rep. Larrabee

magician husband, Harry Black-’ stone, floated her in midair, or when he apparently cut off her head, or even when he sawed her: in two on the stage. ° But she did object when he allegedly threatened to throw her out of a seven-story window in Lima, O. hotel last March.
