ONE THING MORE. The “little guy” is the one who's being hit the i

hardest—the family that is paying

less than $30 a month rent for its

eck-up in home or apartment: About 18 out of every 100 families that pay $30 "a month or less had their rent raised between March and June.

JONES PROMOTED BY PENNSYLVANIA

J. B. Jones, who for the past 10 months has been superintendent of

the Indianapolis division of the |S

Pennsylvania Railroad, will be promoted on Tuesday to superintendent of the Cleveland division.

Indianapolis by J. L. Cranwell, who

is now superintendent of the Monongahela division, with headquarters in Pittsburgh. “Mr. Jones has been in the service of the Pennsylvania since 1927, when. he became an assistant in the engineering corps of the Logansport division.'! He was graduated from the University of Illinois in 1826. Mr. Cranwell ‘is a ‘graduate of

|the University of South Carolina of 1026, and in that year became a |N°%* Banc

rodmapn in the Norfolk division of
