Repairs on Maryland St. in the downtown area have necessitated the temporary change of a number of transit lines, the Indianapolis Railways announced today. All changes will become effective tomorrow. Lines to be changed are: Illinois-Shelby streetcars, southbound—south on 1llinois to Ohio, west to Capitol, south to Maryland, east on Maryland over the regular Shelby route. Illinois-Shelby, northbound, East Michigan Street cars and Northwestern trackless trolleys—east on Maryland to Pennsylvania, south to Georgia, west to Illinois, north on Illinois over the regular northbound tracks. English and S. East trackless trolleys, southbound—the vehicles will operate east on Maryland over the regular route but will use the westhound overhead wires. Indiana-Columbia trackless trolleys—coming from Columbia the trolleys will go west on Washington from Alabama tc Capitol. thence north over the regular Indiana route.
