John C. Ruckelshaus to Entertain At Lambs Club Frolic Tonight
i READY FOR ONE of the summer's gayest weekpds are the parties planning to attend either the Indianmpolis Country Club’s Golden Jubilee supper dance topight, marking the club’s 50th anniversary, or the closing frolic of the Lambs Club at the Athenaeum garden.
At the Lambs summer frolic Mr. and Mrs. Pearson Smith will bs with a party including Mr. and Mrs. Walter C. Hiser and the iatter’s house guests, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hendricks of Elkhart. Mr, and Mrs. Uz McMurtrie will be at the Athenaeum with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wallerich. The McMurtries’ son, William H. McMurtrie, of Los Angeles, who has heen visiting his parents during the past fortnight will return home after next week. In John C. Ruckelshaus’ party will be his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ruckelshaus, and their house guests, Mrs. Clarence Hall, of Chevy Chase, Md., Mrs. Ruckelshaus’ mother, and Miss Bardie Hall of Annapolis, Md., Mrs. Hall's granddaughter. Mr. and Mrs. William Frederick Souder Jr. will have a group of. 10 with them at the Lambs party. Planning to attend the dance at the Country Club are Mr. and Mys. James M. Drake. Elam-McKibbin Wedding Is This Afternoon
HER MOTHER'S wedding gown of ivory chiffon taffeta and a
. Bhantilly lace cap which belonged to her grandmother will be worn
by Miss Jean McKibbin as she is married this afternoon to John Harvey Elam, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey J. Elam. The ceremony is to take place at 4:30 o'clock in the garden at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. McKibbin. The bridal gown is finished with jnsertion of Valenciennes lace and from the lace cap will fall a veil of ivory illusion. The bride is to carry a bouquet of white blossoms fastened to an heirloom iace fan. She will be given in marriage by her father. Dr. George Arthur Frantz of the First Presbyterian Church is to perform the marriage ceremony. Attending the bride will be her sister-in-law, Mrs. Davidson McKibbin, Chicago, and Mrs. Howard Roarbach, Washington, bridesmaid. Mrs. McKibbin will be gowned in yellow marquisette over taffeta and will carry an arm bouquet of delphinium and daisies. ; Mrs. Roarbach will carry a bouquet of the same flowers with her blue frock. Horse Show Dates Set
CLOSELY FOLLOWING the advent of summer each year comes #he announcement of horses show dates. July 12 and 13 have been set as the dates for the third annual Reserve League Horse Show at
- South Bend. Three performances, Saturday afternoon and night
and Sunday afternoon, will be given at Playland Park, according to announcement of Robert Peggs, manager. Prizes this year will amount to $2500. One of the bigger shows which always attracts an imposing entry list, including Indiana horses, is the Lexington, Ky., Junior League Horse Show which opens the kentucky show season. Trophies and $11,000 in prize money will draw many exhibitors to the heart of the blue grass region on July 16 to 19. In order to attract exhibitors showing at the Indiana State Fair State College, East Lansing, Mich. gaited classes, and Leonard S. ciation has announced that its annual charity show will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 6 and 7. The show is held at the John Berghoff estate near Ft. Wayne. Officers of the sponsoring association are Marshall W. Dale, president; Mrs. Berghoff, vice president; Mrs. Herbert Miller, treasurer; Miss Laurette Hayes, corresponding secretary, and Mrs. Harry Beggs, recording secretary.

Margaret Todd Is Married to Edward Dicks
Miss Margaret Todd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry BE. Todd, 1129 Marlowe [Ave., .became the bride of Edward Dicks of Indianapolis in a ceremony at 8 o'clock this morning in Holy Cross Catholic Church. The Rev. Pr. Victor Goossens officiated.
The bride and her attendants wore frocks of organza made with lace inserts in the fitted basques and full skirts. Short puffed sleeves and high necklines finished the bodices. With her white gown, the bride wore a fingertip length veil held by a wreath of orange blossoms and carried a bouquet of white roses and baby breath. : Her sister, Miss Mildred Todd, maid of honor, was in pale blue and carried cream and pink carnations and baby breath tied with pink tulle. Another sister, Miss Cecilia Todd, and a cousin, Miss Mary Jane Howell, were in pink and carried bouquets of vari-colored flowers tied with blue tulle. All three wore blue headbands with maline bows. William J, Davy served as Mr. Dick’s best man. The bride's mother chose a navy costume with which she wore white accessories and a corsage of pink roses and baby breath. 3 A breakfast at Cifaldi’s followed the ceremony and a reception was to be held this afternoon at the Todd home. The couple will be at home at 3832 E. Washington St.
Notre Dame Chapel Is Wedding Scene

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin T. Kilrain Jr. have left for a northern wedding trip following their marriage here this morning and will be at home in
Indianapolis after July 15. The bride was Miss Maryann Bitter prior to the 9:30 o'clock ceremony in the Berenini Chapel at the University of Notre Dame. The parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester C. Bitter, 622 N. Wallace St., Indianapolis. Mr, Kilrain is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Kilrain of Anderson. Before an altar decorated with flowers and palms and lighted by tall cathedral candles, the Rev. Fr. Thomas Kelly read the ceremony. The couple was attended by Miss Mary Leinenweber and J. NORTH VERNON, Ind. June 28. —St. Anne's Catholic Church here was the scene of the wedding of Miss Nancy Speer to Ernest Morris at 8:30 o'clock this morning. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Speer of this city are parents of the bride and Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Morris of Alexandria are the bridegroom’s parents. The Rev. Fr. Terschtegge officiated at the double ring ceremony and high mass while the church choir sang the mass, “Ave Maria” and “On This Day, O Beautiful Mother.” ? - The bride was attended by her sisters, Lula, maid of honor, and Julia and Mary, bridesmaids. The maid of honor wore peach embossed marquisette and carried Mrs. Aaron Ward roses, dephinium and baby breath. Julia wore pink marquisette and lace an dMafy blue. They carried Talisman roses, delphinium and baby breath. The bride’s gown was of white embossed marquisetter made with a sweetheart neckline, long sleeves and a train. Her long veil had a face veil and she carried a prayer book to which was attached a white orchid. Otto Bender of Alexandria was best man and Thomas Kane and Clyde Schnider, both of Indianapolis, were ushers. Affer a reception at the home of the bride's parents, the couple left for a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains, the bride traveling in a black net costume with white accents, white accessories and an orchid corsage. A wedding trip to northern Wisconsin was to follow the marriage of Miss Ethel Bradley and Dr. Ronald P. Sibson of St. Joseph, Mich. at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon in the North Methodist Church. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles P. Bradley, 320 N. Temple Ave. and Dr. Sibson is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Sibson, Brattleboro, Vt.

ring ceremony. Pews were to be marked with bows of tulle. Mrs. J. Russell Paxton, organist, was to play the musical program and accompany Mrs. Edward H. Schock as she sang “Because.” Entering on the arm of her brother, Earl C. Bradley, the bride was to wear white chiffon with a fitted basque closing at the back with a row of satin covered buttons. Seed pearls outline the sweetheart necklace of the gown which has long, full sleeves falling into points at the hands and a full skirt forming a long train. Her veil is in fingertip length and was to have a tiara of fresh white rosebuds. Her shower bouquet was to be of white bride's roses with white streamers knotted with swainsonia. The frock worn by Miss Dorothy Glosson, maid of honor, was to be of shell pink tulle with square neckline, short puffed sleeves, a bouffant skirt and a sash of pink taffeta tying in a large bow. ‘Her shell pink illusion veil, in shoulder length, was to be held by a headdress of Happy Day roses matching those of her bouquet.
