Funeral services for William Floyd ‘Butler, who formerly operated a restaurant in Broad Ripple, will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday in the Harry ‘W. Moore Peace Chapel. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery. . Mr. Butler, who was 43, died yesterday at his home, 911 E. 63d St. after an illness of several months. His health had forced his retirement five months ago. He was a member of the Calvin W. Prather ‘Masonic Lodge 717. + He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen G. Butler; three sons, Allan Read Butler, Charles F. Butler and ‘Wallace T. Butler, and a brother, Blythe Butler, all of Indianapolis.
Fine to Be Paid 20 Cents Weekly
HOWARD E. STEVENS, 25, of . 341 Park Ave, cab driver, was convicted in Municipal Court today of speeding. He told Judge John McNelis that he made between $10 and $12 a week and ‘that he had a wife and four children. Judge McNelis fined him $11 and put him on probation for a year.

Funeral services for Pvt. Albert H. Schnell of the air mechanics’ school at Chanute Field, Ill., will be held at 10 a. m. tomorrow in the G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home. Burial will be in Washington Park. A firing squad from Ft. Harrison will participate in ‘the Cemetery service. Pvt. Schnell, 27, whose parents are Mr. and ‘Mrs. Albert L. Schnell, 2125 S. East St, died Wednesday when his motorcycle and two automobiles crashed near Urbana, Ill.
Graduate of Manual
Private Schnell was graduated from Manual Training High School in 1932 and had worked here and in Richmond before joining the Air Corps last October. He would have been graduated from the mechanics’ school next month and was to have been stationed for two years at the Panama Canal Zone. Besides his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Bernice Fissell and Jane and Marjorie, and two brothers, Robert and Eugene.

Sheriff Arnold J. Willmann of St. Louis County said today an arrest order had been sent throughout the Midwest for two men named in witnesses’ statements as having been with Charles L. Bailey, Evansville, Ind., shortly before he was found fatally wounded on a high way Wednesday. Meanwhile, St. Louis police arrested an alleged member of the old Dean gang and an associate of William P. (Dinty) Colbeck and David (Chipy) Robinson, already held. County authorities said that the men suspected was wanted for investigation in connection with the slaying and that they would take eustody of him today. /
ROOSEVELT TO SPEAK TWICE NEXT WEEK

P.) .—President Roosevelt agreed today to -make two speeches next week and indicated that he might include in them anything he has to say about America’s policy toward the German-Russian war. Mr. Roosevelt will speak late Monday afternoon at dedication ceremonies for the new Franklin D. Roosevelt Library, which houses the documentary record of the New Deal. On July 4, under auspices of the Office of Civilian Defense, he will address the nation by radio in an oratorical observation of Independence Day.

Mr. Edison was impressed with the messenger’s industry, and because the boy was without funds, he made it possible for him to attend _| DePauw, at that time the old Asbury College. Last fall Mr. Guettal was awarded the memorial cane which is held successively by the oldest living alumnus of the University. For many years Mr. Guettal was a timber buyer in Shelby County and later was a farmer in Boone County. He then came to Indianapolis and operated a nursery at his home. As a nurseryman Le became interested in the experiments of Luther Burbank and became skilled at grafting and plant propagation. Miss Phoebe Gross, a half-sister, is his only immediate survivor.
