Blozis featured the Father’s: Day sports parade at the Polo Grounds yesterday by tossing the eightpound shot 74 feet 2% inches to better the previous world mark -of 70 feet % inch held by Bill Watson of Michigan. Blozis’ 56 feet 614 inch effort with the 16-pound ball bettered his own unofficial American mark of 56 feet 1 inch as well as the accepted American record of 55 feet 10% inches held ‘by Elmer|3 Hackney of Nebraska.
