C. boys got up early this morning to make last minute preparations for their “final exam,” the annual Federal inspection which began at their school at 8 o'clock. fieut. Col. C. A. Robinson of Ft. Hayes, O., was in charge. The us Attucks unit was scheduled inspection at 10:15 o'clock and the Shortridge High School cadets at 2:15 p. m. USE FOOT REFLECTOR TO GUARD PEDESTRIAN

MIAMI], Fla. (U. P.) —Two inventions designed for the protection of pedestrians have made their appearance on the streets here. One is similar to a window shade, and when pulled down by a simple wrist movement displays a sign reading: “Go ahead,” informing the pedestrian the motorist will stand still. It was invented by C. M. Leary of Gary, Ind. The other safety device, patented by Mrs. C. A. McKinley of Miami, is a reflector attached to a rubber band and worn on the shoes of cyclists and pedestrians on th streets after dark. ;
