Boy Scouts—
Take Part in 2-Day Performance.
The curtain goes 8 on the fourt ennual Boy Scout Circus at 7: p. m. today in the Fair Groun s Coliseum. More than 100 Scouts have be hard at work the last several days, building bridges, erecting towers, pitching tents and building cabins for the spectacle. There will be strange animals ‘propelled by boy power. There will be Indians, Northwest Mounted Police, cowboys and favorite characters from current books and movies. Several thousand boys from the Central Indiana Council will participate in the eight-act circus
which will give a repeat performance at the same time tomorrow night. Approximately 200 Scout troops and 56 Cub packs will be in the show | and each troop and pack is furnishing its own material.

Norris on Camp Staff
‘Max Norris, ‘an Eagle Scout. and assistant scoutmaster of Troop 60 of the Carrollton A v e. Reformed Church, will be a member of the annual Boy Scout Camp staff this year. The summer camp for all Boy couts will “be held next month. Mr. Norris will be in .charge of the horsemanship classes. : Troop 137, gponsored by the Old Bethel Methodist Church, is the latest addition to the local Scout troops. Ths new troop, ‘which has been started with. 10 charter members, has as its leader, Wilbur Dodson, R. R. 11, Box 521. He will. be assisted by Walter Gillespie, 421 S.

Catholics Hold Retreat
For the first time in Indianapolis, Catholic Boy Scouts will hold a three-day retreat at Camp Chank-
.apolis-diocese and is in charge of the ‘Rev. Fr. Richard Langen, Catholic Youth Organization director and diocesan - chaplain for the Boy Scouts. A 8 = = There’s going to be a heap big pow wow next Friday at Camp Chank-tun-un-gi when Cubs and Cubbers from the Indianapolis and Central Indiana ‘Council get together for a joint meeting of Packs, 6, 38 and 39. A Dpitch-in dinner for the 120 Cubs and their famliies will be followed by the meeting at 8 p. m: Induction and other ceremonies will be carried ouf in Indian fashion.

The second Sea Scout Ship in Indianapolis is now in the process organization. The new addition to the Sea Scouts is sponsored by the Edwin Ray Methodist Church, Harry Eades, 923 Lexington Ave. an eagle scout and former scoutmaster of Troop. 55, will be the ship’s skipper. Troop 61, of the. Fairview Presbyterian Church, has.a Sea Scout patrol in its organization, but there are no other- Sea Scout Ships here besides Ship 1 and the organization now being formed.

Boy Scouts will place American flags on the graves of all soldiers in Crown Hill cemetery May 25. The Scouts will meet at 2 p. m. in the Crown Hill Chapel. More than 200 participated in last year’s ceremonies. ;
