THE HIRED HAND SITUATION ON INDIANA'S FARMS, as well as in many other states, is likely to cause some difficulty this summer. The crux of the matter, according to Farm Bureau leaders, is that farm labor can make more money in industry now and that is where it is going. The problem hasn't sprung up overnight but has been brought to a head by the rearmament program. State employment officials say that labor generally prefers industrial to farm work because of the long hours, low pay and general
working conditions. The Farm Bureau believes that
