Prepare for Civic Theater Ball

Numerous dinners and informal parties are being arranged before the dance.

Times Special DANVILLE, Ind. April 26—The home of Dr. and Mrs. Carl Hayes Griffey here was the scene, at 10 o'clock this morning, of the wedding of their daughter, Tirzah Joan, to Robert C. Barnett, son of John M. Barnett, also of Danville. The single ring ceremony read by the Rev, Anderson before the immediate families and a few close friends. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore her traveling costume of powder blue with beige accessories. Mrs. James Cox, Lebanon, the bride’s sister, and Richard Barnett, brother of the bridegroom, were the only attendants. After a wedding trip through the East Mr. and Mrs. Barnett will live in Danville. Guests from Indianapolis included Mr. and Mrs. H, F. Griffey. - The bride is a graduate of Central Normal College and a member of Psi Chi Omega and Tri Kappa Sororities. Mr. Barnett attended Purdue University and is a member of Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity.
