Complete Basic Flight Training Program at Randolph Field, Tex.
Times Special RANDOLPH FIELD. Texas, April 22. —Four Indianapolis youths today completed the basic flight training program at Randolph Field, the West Point of the An.” They are Bernard Cederholm, 320 N. Summit St.; S. J. Marquette, 76 N. Ritter Ave; Allan B. Scales, 541 E. Maple Road, and Eugene A. Wahl 953 Hervey St They are among 350 Flving Cadets who completed the four and a half months course and who now go to Kelly Field for 10 weeks final training before receiving the coveted ‘wings” and commissions as second lieutenants in the Army Air Corps During the Randolph Field training, the cadets got their first taste of night fiving, making take-offs and landings aided only by the glare of huge floodlights and later guided only by their wing-tip lights
