Extra Cash Requested for Wage Boosts, Road and Hospital Work.

Additional appropriations of $182,000 were considered on first reading by the County Council today.

Of the total funds requested, $23,000 is proposed for increasing the

County Highway Department, and $44000 is asked to complete the building program at the Julietta Hospital. Controversy arose both over the wage increase request and money

Wool producers were ordered to bring in by May 15 all wool produced in 1940 not used for personal purpcses.
