Woodstock Club's Dance Is Tonight
FIRST of spring-and-summer activities at country clubs the Forward March dinner dance at the Woodstock Club and Meridian Hills Country Club's March dinner-bridge this evening Among parties planned to attend the Woodstock dance, which begins at 9:30 o'clock, will be one with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ww. Fieber as hosts for Messrs. and Mesdames John H. Roberts Jr., John Moore and James W. Ray. With Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah L. Cadick will be Mr. and Mrs. William H. Wemmer and Mr, and Mrs. John Cooper : Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Sweeney Jr. were committee chairmen for the event with Messrs. and Mesdames Fieber, Conrad Ruckels= haus. Louis H. Aids for Children's Theater Production Listed
a leading player in “Private Lives,” which closed the Civic Theater this week, now is giving undivided attention to the Children's Civic Theater production, “Titian,” which he is directing for presentation next Saturday and Sunday. Assisting him in the production are Mrs. James R. Miller, stage manager, with Miss Betty Lou Speakman as her assistant. Mrs. John Gordon Kinghan, costume chairman, has been visiting libraries and the art museum to find samples for authentic costumes of the Italian Renaissance period. Her committee includes Mesdames Joseph W_ Walden. James L. Rose, John Ebner and Richard K.
