dianapolis member of the staff of the 38th Division at Camp Shelby, Miss., has . retired from the U. S. Army after 37 - years service. Col. Blain went into Federal service in January with the Indiana National Guard, a part of the 38th Division. Beginning his military service in 1904, Col, Blain served in the regular Army and National Guard until his retirement I'eb. 10 at ‘ the age of 64.
