Tonight’s return battle between lightweight champion Lew Jenkins and Lou Ambers will be broadcast by. WENR starting at 9 o'clock.

~ Paul Muni will make one of his rare radio appearances tonight in the Playhouse production of “Crime Syndicate,” 8:30 on WFBM. It’s a . ; drama based in part on a story by Wilbur Daniel Steele, “Life Is So Little.” Arch Oboler’s dramatic offering this evening at the same time on WIRE is to be “The Family,” starring Alla Nazimova. This one is an adaptation of Nina Fedorova's best selling novel Paul Muni ©f the same name. Following tonight’s show, Mr. Oboler plans to take his Everyman's Theater on a month’s tour. He will broadcast from New York and Chicago. Among the plays to be given during the tour is to be a repeat of “This Precicus Freedom,” with Raymond Massey again in the leading role. “This Precious Freedom” deals with an American businessman who returns from a long hunting trip in Canada to discover that his homeland has become a dictatorship.

Tomorrow afternoon’s Metropolitan Opera broadcast, WLW at 1 o'clock, is to be “The Barber of Seville.” Josephine Tuminia, hew American coloratura soprana discovery, and John Charles Thomas, baritone, will have the leading roles. Gennaro Papi will conduct. Walt Disney is to be the intermission speaker.
