National Executive of Junior League To Visit Local Group Next Week
MISS HELEN T. FINDLAY, New York, arts chairs man of the Associated Junior Leagues of America, will speak Friday morning to the Indianapolis Junior League at 10:45 o'clock in the American United Life Insurance Building. Mrs. Booth T. Jameson, president of the local group, and Mrs,
John Collett will report on the recent national conference of Junior Leagues held in St. Louis.
Miss Findlay is to arrive in Indianapolis Wednesday afternoon and will be a guest of the League’s board at a dinner Thursday night in the Woodstock Club. On Thursday morning she will confer with Wilbur Peat, director of John Herron Art Museum, and Donald A. Mattison, director of the John Herron Art Institute, and visit the school and museum.
Mrs. Charles Latham will give a luncheon on Thursday to ace quaint Miss Findlay with the League's work in connection with the Art Institute and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. The national executive will be Mrs. Latham’s guest at the pre-concert luncheon of the women’s committee, Indiana State Symphony Society, Friday in the Athenaeum and will attend the concert which follows in the Murat Theater. The play will open Feb. 19 and will run through March 1. Skyrme will go to Lakewood for the final performance and will return with Mrs. Skyrme to Indianapolis the following day. Mr. and Mrs. Skyrme are charter members of the Lakewood Little Theater which was founded 10 years ago. ~~ Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harvey Bradley and Mr. and Mrs. William I. Under a canopy of similax framed with white flowers, Miss Rosalind Barskin will be married to William S. Deckelbaum tomorrow morning at 11:30 o'clock. The service will be read by Rabbi Maurice Goldblatt in the home of her father, A. J. Barskin, 5640 N, Pennsylvania St. The bridegroom is the son of Sam Deckelbaum of Cleveland.
