J, B. WOODRUFF DIES IN FLORIDA
Served as Supervisor of Penmanship in Schools Here 22 Years.
Jacob H. Woodruff, a: penmanship
teacher, died yesterday at Lakeland, ‘Fla. He was 84. Mr. Woodruff had been penmanship supervisor in the public schools here for 22 years. He also had taught at the old Ladoga Normal - School and from 1884 to 1889 was penmanship supervisor in the Minneapolis public schools. He came here in 1889. : Mr. Woodruff lived in California from 1912 to 1920. He married Lida McGinnis of Ladoga in 1880 and she died in 1902. Surviving are his daughter Mrs. Charles Felton of Washington Ind., with whom he lived since 1920, and a brother, Edward, of Cincinnati.’ Services will be held at 2:30 p. m.

anan Mortuary.
Burial will be at Crown Hill
Cemetery.

and 10th Sts. at 3 p. m, tomorrow Hill
and burial will be in Crow Cemetery.
