It was to include marimba solos by Miss Jean Hegg, an original poem by Richard Hatton, a saxophone number by James Hoover, songs by Patsy Lou and Virginia Anderson of Fortville and piano selections by Nancy Ann Hatton, Nan Raine and William Huff. i Next Thursday the club will sponsor a book review and musical program at 2 p. m. in the World War Memorial auditorium. Proceeds will be used to place a woman in the Indianapolis Home for Aged Women. The club already has made it possible for six women to be admitted. +» Mrs. Howard J. McDavitt will be on the program next week with a review of “The Vanishing Virginians” (Rebecca: Yancey Willlams). Music on the program will be familiar tunes played by Margaret Ryder Bosley on the theremin, an instrument whose cello-like tones are produced by the solois{’s manipulation of electric waves without direct contact with the instrument.
