PRINGIPALS IN WIFE SWAPPING ARE WED

LAPEER, Mich, Jan. 3 (U. P.).— Two of the principals in a “wife swapping” case in which two couples traded wives, 11 of their 14 children, and swapped a cow to seal the bargain, started the new year married. George Davis and Mrs. Edith June, who figured in the case, were married New Year's Eve. They, with Clarence June and Mrs. Davis, were once charged with lewd and lascivious cohabitation after neighbors had testified to “outlandish goings-on.” June had sent seven of his 10 children, his wife and one of his 12 cows to Davis in return for Mrs. Davis and her four small daughters. Both couples received divorces later, but June's decree prohibits his marriage for two years.
