Vassar Alumnae Entertain Students
NISS BARBARA ALIG and Miss Mary Jo Albright, freshman at Vassar College, were to speak to Vassar alumnae following the annual holiday luncheon honoring students of ‘the college - today at the Propylaeum. Other Indianapolis young women who attended Vassar are Misses Letitia Sinclair, Nancy Goodrich. Mrs. Frederic D. Anderson, president of the local alumnae club, was in charge of arrangements for the luncheon.

Symphony Luncheon Is Friday
MEETING FOR THE FOURTH in the season’s series of 10 luncheons and explanatory music talks, members of the Indiana State Symphony Society's women’s -gommittee and patrons of the
Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra: concert series will lunch in the
Athenaeum at noon Friday. Subject of the music talk to be given by Mrs. Lenore Coffin at 1 p. m. will be compositions to be played on the orchestra’s week-end programs. Reservations for the luncheon should be made before 5 p. m. Thursday at the orchestra’s Murat Theater headquarters according to Mrs. Herbert T. Wagner, general chairman for the events.

The Rev. William Burrows, rector of the church, will read the marriage service. A half-hour program of bridal airs will be played by Miss Helen Rice, organist, before the ceremony. Included will be “Liebestraum,” Schubert’s “Ave Maria,” Mendelssohn's “Sweet Remembrance” and the Adagio from his First Organ Sonata, “Clair de Lune” and Wagner's “Evening Star.” “Meditation” from “Thais” will be played during the ceremony and the Lohengrin and Mendelssohn wedding marches will be used for the processional and recessional.
Ww. Acheson of Washington, will be matron of honor. Mrs. Acheson was Miss Patricia Jameson before her marriage April 2. Her medieval style gown of rose pink peau de chine taffeta is made with tight bodice and bouffant skirt trimmed with tiny clusters of rosebuds. She will wear a matching bonnet. Mrs. Acheson’s sister, Miss Margaret Jameson, will be a bridesmaid with Misses Susan Gatch, Nancy Goodrich, Catherine Cunningham, Joan Taylor and Jane Axtell. Their frocks, made like that of the matron of honor, are of copper rose and will be worn with matching bonnets. All of the attendants will carry colonial bouquets of pale pink carnations, Finch roses, pink poinsettias, violets and gerberas in peach and coral tones. The bouquets will be edged with-miniature brown pine cones.
Bride to Wear Velvet
Given in marriage by her father, the bride will be in candlelight velvet fashioned with basque waist and full sleeves gathered into deep cuffs. Bodice and cuffs of the gown are trimmed with rose peint lace which belonged to the bride’s great grandmother, Mrs. Henry Ward Dana. The full skirt sweeps from the hipline into a long, circular train. The full-length vefl of illusion will fall from a cap of rose point lace and the bride will carry a handkerchief which belonged to her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Enrique Miller. White camellias and bouvardia edged with white tulle and tied with white velvet streamers will form the colonial type bridal beuquet. Fayette Ann Miller to Become Bride of Nathaniel Hamilton Jr. In Ceremony This Afternoon
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will be the scene, at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon, of the ‘wedding of Miss Fayette Ann Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy B. Pots of azaleas will be used throughout the rooms and the hallway chandeliers will have smaller boxwood balls like that in the living room. The wedding cake will be garlanded with smilax and white gardenias, bouvardia and, camellias. On the buffet there will be an arrangement of the same flowers. ;
Couple to Live in Chicago
The bride and bridegroom will leave for a trip to Colorado and will be at home after Jan. 15 at T671 Rogers Ave., Chicago. For traveling the bride will wear a gray wool costume suit trimmed with sheared beaver collar and patch pockets. A brown band will trim her turquoise hat and she will wear orown accessories and a - natural bunch of violets. - Miss Miller attended Holton Arms School in Washington and the John Herron Art School here. The marriage of Miss Neva Danner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert C. Danner, 1801 Alton Ave, to
Richard Raymann took place at 7:30 o'clock this morning in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Robert Hartman reading the service. Mr. Raymann is the son of Edward Raymann of Washington, Ind. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Raymann, brother and sister-in-law of the bridegroom. The bride’s costume was a beige dress with brown accessories, a fur chubby jacket and a corsage of sweetheart roses and white sweet peas. Her matron of honor wore blue with black accessories and a corsage of red roses and sweet peas. Mrs. Danner, mother of the bride, chose a wine velvet dress with sequin trim and black accessories.
