Many Parties Already Are Planned To Attend Mask and Wig Club's Show
MANY PARTIES are being planned to attend the University of Pennsylvania Mask and Wig Club show, “High as a Kite,” and the ball to follow at the Indianapoplis Athletic Club Friday. Mrs. Bowman Elder is making arrangements for the ball and supper, to be one of
the most colorful of the season. Entertainment by Mask and Wig cast members will be presented
at the ball, for which Louis Lowe and Larry Price’s Orchestras
will play. Mr. and Mrs. Norman A. Perry Jr, will entertain with a box party for the show at the Murat Theater and #&t the ball. In their group will be Miss Jane Adams, Miss Ann Fox, Sylvester Johnson; Mrs. Perry’s brother, William O’Neall, Crawfordsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Louis McClennen. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Brown will have a theater and dance party for their daughter, Virginia, at home from Dana Hall. The guests will include Misses Eva Taggart, Cynthia Test and Alice Boozer, Scott and David Moxley, Peter Hackleman, Charles Bookwalter, John Spalding and John Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Vonnegut will attend with Messrs. and Mesdames Thomas Harvey Cox, Addison J. Parry and Horace Nordyke. With Mr. and Mrs. Harold West will be Mr. and Mrs. Norman Baxter and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jose Jr. Also attending the show and dance will be Mrs. L. M. Thiesing, Merrill Thiesing, Miss Marilyn Mitchell, Dr. and Mrs. W. A. Kemper, Messrs. and Mesdames Norman E. Titus, Louis Mohlenkamp and E. G. Dehner. Messrs. and Mesdames C. H. Beach, Albert Bristor and Archie - Bobbitt will be in a box together. Miss Janet Beach will attend with Miss Sue Virginia Hull, John Creagor and William Bruenger. Dr. and Mrs. Nicholas Berczel, Minneapolis, who are visiting Mrs, Berczel’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Karl R. Zimmer, will attend with Mr. .and Mrs. Walter Myers Jr.,, Miss Mary Zimmer and Charles K. Hagedon. William P. Shade II, Decatur, Ill, who was manager of last year’s show and assistant manager in 1938 when the club last appeared here, will come for the evening.

EVAN NOYES will arrive from New York Christmas morning to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas H. Noyes of Crow’s Nest. He is a volunteer in the naval reserve and is at present aboard the $. S. Illinois in New York waters. He will be here until New Year's Day.
