- The Bulldogs led Ohio State, 25-22, at the half, but the 4644 fans figured the Bucks could come back with a rally such as beat West Virginia earlier in the week! But Butler was the one that came back, building the score to 41-30 and.then attempting tofreeze the ball. Uncanny Buckeye marksmanship nearly ruined Butler—but not quite. 2 = 2
It’s the Style to Run
Butler came back to Indianapolis with tales of Ohio State speed. “We thought Indiana ran,” said one, “but the Hoosiers were Just loping glongside those Buckeyes.” And that brings up the subject of the Bulldogs’ next game with Ohio State here Feb. 1. On the night previous Hinkle's boys will play St. Joseph at Philadelphia and it’s no secret that the “Philly boys prefer the jackrabbit style of play, too. The question is whether the Bulldogs can chase firewagons two nights in a row.
