Lister-Short Service Read
Mr. and Mrs. Harry K. Lister are on a motor trip south following their wedding at 7:30 p. m. yester= day in McKee Chapel of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church. They will be at home after Dec. 1 at 6020 Crestview Drive, Mrs. Lister was Miss Myrtle E. Short, daughter of Mrs. M. L. Faber, 3043 Ruckle St. For traveling the bride chose a block wool costume suit with silver fox trim, a silver fox hat and Ming Toy green accessories, The ceremony was performed by Dr. Roy Ewing Vale before an altar decorated with palms, ferns and two seven-branch candelabra. E. C. Zehe sang “Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life” and “Because” before the ceremony for which Miss Donna Alles, organist, played. The bride entered on the arm of Donald G. Hays. She wore a candlelight slipper satin gown fashioned on Empire lines with a lace yoke edged with scallops at the neckline. The sleeves, puffed at the shoulders, were long and tight fitting from elbow to wrist where they were finished. with points. The shirred basque hodice topped a bouffant skirt which swept into a long train. She wore a candlelight illusion veil in fingertip length with shoulder length face veil falling from a coronet of illusion. Her arm bouquet was of white roses in a shower arrangement. The matron of honor, Mrs. Edwin T. Leiper, wore princess blue taffeta fashioned with a square neckline, short, puffed sleeves, a shirred basque waist and a bouffant skirt, made with three flounces shading into deeper tones. The bridesmaids, Mrs. V. F. Jones and Miss Marietta Varley, were in petal pink taffeta made like Mrs. Leiper’s frock. @ All three wore matching velvet bows in their hair and strands of pearls given them by the bride. Mrs. Leiper carried Briarcliff roses and the bridesmaids flowes were Johanna Hill roses. James R. Everline, New Albany, was best mgn and Edwin Mower and Robert A. Yaw were ushers. Mrs. Faber, the bride's mother, was gowned in Fragonard rose faille {taffeta with scroll trim. Her accessories were black and she wore a |corsage of gardenias and Talisman roses.
Reception Followed
A reception at the hame of the bride's mother followed the ceremony. Fall flowers in bronze and yellow tones decorated the house. Mr. Lister attended Butler University and -is a member of Phi Lambda Epsilon Fraternity. Guests at the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Tullis, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Owen . Couple Leaves On Trip South
Miss Bettejane Whitcomb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude L. Whitcomb, and Edgar Louis Ruscher, son
were married at 7:30 o'clock last night at the parish house of the Edgewood Calvary Lutheran Church The Rev. W. L. Barth, pastor of the church, performed the marriage ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white silk jersey with an accordion pleated skirt falling. from a draped bodice and fitted waistline. The gown was made with a square neckline and a cowl hood. Her flowers were pink roses. Miss Mary Edna Peak, the bride's only attendant, wore . pale blue moire taffeta in bouffant style with a square neckline. Her bouquet was of white gardenias. James Ronk was best man. Mrs. Whitcomb chose a black taffeta frock with which she wore a black velvet hat and black accessories. A black crepe gown was worn by Mrs. Ruscher. Both wore gardenia corsages. A reception was held at the home of the bridegroom's parents after the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Ruscher have left for a trip south and will be at home in Indianapolis upon their return. The bride is wearing a pale blue crepe frock with brown accessories and a brown squirrel coat for travel.

Mueller-Heger Wedding Today
The marriage of Miss Helen Amelia Heger and Kurt R. E. Mueller will be solemnized at 8:30 p. m. today in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. J. D. Matthius officiating. The bride is the sister of Harold Heger, 646 N. Jefferson Ave. and Mr. Mueller is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Mueller, 638 N. Jefferson Ave. ‘ The ceremony will be read at an altar banked with palms and ferns
interspersed with candelabra. Paul G. Elbert, organist, will play a group of bridal airs and Mrs. Robert Schreiber will sing “At Dawning,” “Because” and “Oh Perfect Love.” Miss Elizabeth Stahlhut, maid of honor. and Mrs. Henry Scheidker, bridesmaid, will wear twin frocks of forget-me-not blue taffeta with net overskirts trimmed with rows of tiny taffeta ruffles. The’ bodices of the gowns are finished with square necklines and puffed sleeves. They will carry arm bouquets of pink chrysanthemums and ivy. Mis$ Heger’s bridal gown is of white bengaline brocaded with a forget-me-not motif. The standaway skirt sweeps into a’ long train and the long sleeves are puffed at the shoulders. The neckline is heart-shaped. Her fingertip-length veil will fall from a heart-shaped cap trimmed with orange blossoms and she will carry a bouquet of gardenias and sweetheart roses. Mr. Heger will give his sister in marriage. Raymond Brunner, Cincinnati, will be Mr. Mueller’s best man and ushers will be Frederick Heger, brother of the bride, and Edward Arnold, her brother-in-law. . Mrs. Mueller will wear a blue crepe dress with matching accessories and Mrs. Arnold will be in Dubonnet with a matching hat. Both will wear corsages of sweetheart roses and gardenias. After a reception at the bride's home following the ceremony, the couple will leave for a motor trip west. A brown fur-trimmed suit will be warn by the bride as her go-ing-away costume. Her accessories will be of brown and she will wear a gardenia corsage. 5210 Visits Made By P. H. N. A.
A total of 5210 visits last month by the Public Health Nursing Association was reported at the recent meeting of the board of directors of the association. Arn increase of pay and part-pay services also was reported at the meeting over which Mrs. Donald A. Morrison presided.
Thomas Scott, of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. of New York, spoke at the meeting and reports on the recent state conference on social work were presented. The board voted to help finance and accept the facilities of the Toy Shop this year in planning Christmas activities. :

Nurses to Have Six Seminars
