MRS. D. A. RUDY DIES HERE ATS
Member of Piones Pioneer Indiana Family; Hushand Died At Same Age.
Mrs. D. A. Rudy, | 8 member of a pioneer Indiana family and a vesident of Indianapolis! for the last 43 years, died yesterday. at’ her home, 1646 N. Delaware st. Mrs. Rudy, who was 91, was [the widow of Danijel A. Rudy, an insurance man, who died 10 years ago when he was 91. Mrs. Rudy was born on a farm in Wayne County. She and Mr. Rudy were: married in 1868 and lived in Hagerstown until 1897, when shel came to adianapoli Her grandfather, Benjamin F. Parsons, was a soldier in the War of 1812 and was one of the early settlers of Wayne County, coming to |Indiana from Elizabeth, N. J. Mrs. Rudy was a member of the Christian Church. Two sons, Ancil Rudy and Ora H. Rudy, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild, survive. Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. tomorrow in the Hisey & Titus Mortuary. Burial will be in Hagerstown.
Miss Anna E. Wiegand
Miss Anna E. Wiegand, a member of the Wiegand florist firm here, died last night in her home, 1624 N. Illinois St. She had been| ill for several years. Miss Wiegand was a sister of George Wiegand, president of A. Wiegand’s Sons Co., florists, and of Homer Wiegand, company secre-tary-treasurer. ‘She was born in Indianapolis and had [lived here all her life. Her sister, Miss ! | Bente Wiegand, with whom she MWved, died a year ago. The brothers are the only immediate survivors. Funeral services will be in the Royster & Askin Mortuary at a time to be decided later.
Miss Josephine Kuntz Miss Josephine Kuntz, a life-long resident of Indianapolis, died yesterday in her home, 2130 Brookside Ave. Ill for three years, Miss Kuntz
was 33. Miss Kuntz was the daughter of Martin and Emma Kuntz. She attended School 70, was a member of the Central Avenue Methodist Church and the Queen Esther Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. She ‘is survived by a brother, Charles Kuntz, and [three sisters, Mrs. Richard Jester, Mrs. Thomas Williams and Miss Louise Kuntz, all of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Thursday in the Flanner & Buchanan Mortuary. Burial will be in Crown Hill.
