CHILD INJURED IN FALL OUT WINDOW
# Five-year-old David Beers and his brother and sister, Frank, 8, and Mary, 3, watched from the window of their apartment home at 901 N. New Jersey St. yesterday as a man painted an iron railing around the : |stairway leading to the basement. Mrs. Frank Beers, the children’s mother, who was sitting on the davenport sewing, was startled by a scream. She rushed to the window. David had fallen to the bottom of the basement stairs, 14 feet below. The screen had been pushed out and the boy had struck the iron railing and then tumbled onto the concrete stairs. Today at the City Hospital, he is reported in a serious condition, suffering from severe head injuries.
