Oct. 29 is circled on many Indianapolis engage‘ment calendars for it marks the pre-season hockey game between the Indianapolis Capitols and the Detroit Red Wings which is being sponsored by the Civic Theater Affairs Committee. Jean Mozelle York's Wedding Revealed

Mr. and Mrs. Carl R. York of Erie, Pa., formerly of Indianapolis, have announced the marriage of their daughter, Jean Mozelle, to Ensign William J. Kitzmiller, son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Kitzmiller of Indianapolis. The marriage took place at Greenfield, Ind, on Jan. 8 of this year. The couple will be at home in Norfolk, Va. where Ensign Kitzmiller will be stationed.

Museum Guild to Meet Wednesday

A special meeting of the Children’s Museum Guild will be held at 10 a. m. Wednesday at the Museum to discuss further plans for Elmer Davis’ lecture here Nov. 11. The radio news commen-= tator will be presented by the Guild at 8:30 p. m. in Caleb Mills Hall of Shortridge High School. Miss Esther Jane Throckmorton, general chairman for the event, has announced that Mr. Davis’ subject will be “What Kind of a War Is This?” She will preside at Wednesday's meeting.

Masked Dinner Dance at Club

Indianapolis Country Club members have received announcements that the spooks and witches will ride at the Club Saturday at a masked ball dinner-dance. Dinner will be served from 8 to 11 p. m., and dancing, for which Paul Barker and his band will play, is to be from 123 p. m. to 2 a. m. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and special entertainment will include a fortune teller.

Delegate to Student Conference

Miss Mildred Orr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard S. Orr, has been chosen as one of two delegates from the Student Government Association at Western College, Oxford. O., to the Women's Intercollegiate Student Government Association conference at Allegheny College, Meadville, Pa. Thursday through Sunday.

Gowns Fshicned Alike.

Mrs. L. A. Helgesson, organist, played a program of bridal airs including “Liebestraum,” “O Promise Me,” “At Dawning,’ “Ave Maria” and, during the ceremony, “Speed Thee My Arrow.” Gowns of the bride’s attendants were fashioned alike of slipper satin with long bodices, and skirts falling from shirred girdles. They were made with sweetheart necklines and short, puffed sleeves. Mrs. William P. Cooling, matron of honor, was in Nattier green and the bridesmaids, Miss Louise Edwards and Miss Janet Hill, were in buttercup gold. They wore matching ribbons in their hair. Mrs. Cooling carried an arm bouquet of bronze chrysanthemums tied with copper metallic ribbon and the bridesmaids carried lemon yellow and gold chrysanthemums tied with copper and gold.

Bride Wears Frost White

The bridal gown was of frost white slipper satin made in princess style. The long sleeves, puffed at the shoulder, were tightly fitted from elbow to wrist. The high waisted bodice was pleated at the front and had a romance neckline. The gored skirt extended into a wide
