Indiana Artists Club Exhibit Will Open Oct, 19 With Dinner

C. J. BULLIET, art critic of the Chicago Daily News, will be guest speaker at the dinner given in connection with the preview of the ninth annual exhibition of the Indiana Artists Club, Saturday} Oct. 19.
The exhibition will be in Ayres’ Tearoom foyer and will open to the public Oct. 21. The gallery will open at! 6 p. m. for the preview and dinuer is to be served at 6:30 p.m. in Ayres’ Tearoom. Officers of the club are Frederick Paley, president; Mrs. Katherine Groh Blasingham, first vice president;. Floyd D. Hopper, second. vice president; Hill Sharp, Muncie, Ind. third vice president; Miss Batty Foster, secretary, and Damien J. Lyman, treasurer, Mrs. Paul T. Civic Theater Production Committees Named
TAKING its cue from the opening play, “Of Thee I Sing,” and the forthcoming general election, the Civic | Theater will assume the atmosphere of an election celebration on {the night of Oct. 18. “Of Thee I Sing,” musical comedy by George Kaufman and Morrie Ryskind, awarded a Pulitzer prize and running on Broadway for two years. bases its plot on a presidential election. Southern Club Party Is Oct. 19
