Every day thousands of fond mothers are again sending their youngsters off to school ... and every hour until they return she is concerned about them because she knows that her children, like all others, are impulsive and sometimes take chances without realizing it. All these mothers have cautioned their children to use the utmost care in crossing streets and to refrain from playing in the street... their teachers have taught them the principles of safe conduct... the school patrol boys do their best to guide them in the ways of safety. Yet youngsters are naturally impulsive and they will unwittingly take many chances... chances that the car and truck driver must constantly guard against.

So, it’s just up to you folks who sit behind the wheels of the thousands of vehicles that roam our streets to think more of your brake pedal than your accelerator.
