It goes without saying, perhaps, that you mav see “Boom Town" for a second week. beginning tomorrow Indianapolis’ reception of four-star super-dooper ought answer M-G-M’s question as to whether the public iz willing to pay a little mere for a big picture Loew's was one of five theaters throughout the country which sent up trial balloons this week The maximum price increase on “Boom Town” tickets was 16 cents Well, the combination eof Clark Gable, Spencer Tracy, Claudette Colbert and Hedy Lamarr more than offset the few extra coppers. « . . as production on “Boom I'own” was getting started, Mr Tracy bogged down from overwork and took a vacation. When he finally returned to the set Mr. Gable was playing the scene in which he picks up a newspaper and exclaims “Shorty’s in town! Mr. Disneys mantlepiece probably has a bigger collection of decorations than any other in Hollywood Among other things he has collected six Academy awards, of one sort. or another; gold medals from the League of Nations and the annual Venice Exposition. and a silver bowl from the First Soviet International Film Festival. He has awards from Fine Arts Academies in Havana and Buenos Aires. and a mention in the Rritish “Who's Who.” And Mickey Mouse has the Encyclopedia Brittanica!
