Norman Green, president of the In dianapolis branch of the American Association of University Women. In a letter sent to all members of the Indianapolis chapter, Mrs. Ruse~ sell R. Hippensteel and Mrs, Horace A. Shonle, co-chairmen of the branch's war relief committee, have appealed to local women to open their homes to the children of the British members. Members also were urged to enlist the aid of their friends who are not A. A. U, W. members, “There may he members who ean furnish affidavits of support, hut cannot offer homes,” said Mrs. Hinpensteel, “and others who can provide homes but cannot take on the full financial burden of another child. We can utilize the resources of both groups. Purchase of an electric sterilizer for the Trudeau Building of the Marion County Tuberculosis Sanatortum al Sunnyside has been announced hy the Semper Paratus Club. Presentation and dedication of the instrument will occur at a public ceremony being planned by the club I'he electrie sterilizer is the first of several pieces of equipment which the club plans to buy with funds ohe« tained in a recent drive for that purpose, Mrs. John Glenn is president of the group and Mrs. John Moore was chairman of the fund-raising drive.
