Breakfast Followed Ceremony
A breakfast at the Indianapolis Athletic Club for the immediate families, out-of-town guests and most intimate friends of the couple followed the ceremony. The oval table, decorated with pink and white peonies, ferns and daisies, surrounded a sunken plateau of the peonies and daisies centered by a small fountain. Guests from out-of-town included Mr. Schmidt's father and Miss Emma Schmidt, Spencer, Ind., Miss Anne Peckham, New York, the bridegroom’s sister; Mesdames Judd Foltz Fay, Donald Wegg, S. P. Skeen and B. H. Bisbee, all of Chicago; Mrs. H. B. Reid, Anderson,’ Ind.. and Mr. and ‘Mrs. C. E. Hughes, Destin, Fla. The bride's traveling costume was a navy blue dress with a navy coat, lined with light blue matching the belt of the, dress, Her light blue hat had a navy veil and she wore. orchids. The couple will be at home after July 1 at 434 Barry Ave., Chicago.

and Mrs. Paul Richardson. The June breakfast is an outstanding event of the Guild's program. The Guild was organized in 1924 by Mrs. Porter. Soon after organization, local groups adopted names from verses of Riley and became affiliated. Later groups from throughout the state became affiliated. At present there are 250 chapters engaged in work for the Riley Hospital patients. The chapters contribute twice yearly to the hospital. Articles supplied are necessities specified by the hospital authorities and include clothing, bedding, toys and toy bags. linens, surgical dressings and equipment and library supplies. Among recent major contributions | ~ are incubators for premature babies, sets of recorded musical masterpieces, play tables and an air conditioner for the baby room. Clubs, church societies, sororities and all groups interested in the Guild are invited. Reservations may be made with Mrs. J. W. Price.
