BOY SCOUTS ENROLL 540 IN FUND DRIVE

J. Frank Holmes, chairman of the finance committee of the Indianapolis Council of the Boy Scouts of America, today reported the enrollment 540 “particular friends of Scouting” at the close of the sustaining membership campaign. Mr. Holmes will make a formal report to the board of the Council on June 13. Two divisions went “over. the top,” passing their quotas of 150 sustaining members. They were: Division 1, headed by Wilson Mothershead and Carl Maetschke, and the Junior

Each year for the last-four, sustaining. members have enrolled by contributing a set sum to be used in directly developing existing and new troops. This yeassgach member paid $10. 3 Mr. Holmes characterized the response to the campaigns and its results as “phenomenal.”
