Situation,” Federation Will Not Adjourn.

Because of the “serious world situation,” the Indianapolis Church Federation will not adjourn during the summer months as usual. It was decided yesterday at the Federation’s first ‘business meeting under its new president, Henry R. Danner, that it would hold summer meetings on the call of the president, and that the Church Federation office will remain open throughthe summer. : : Dr. Howard J: Baumgartel, executive secretary, urged all committee chairmen to call meetings. of their committees before July 1, to adopt definite projects.

After a discussion of the recommendations of the international relations . committee led by Mrs. Frank H. Streightoff, it was decided upon motion of Eugene C. Foster, social service committee chairman, that the Federation would aid in | forming a committee of Indiana citizens for war refugee relief. Dr.' ; Carleton W. Atwater, First Rapist Church pastor, spoke on the need of emphasis upon prayer in the | present crisis. | On recommendation of the Rev. Linn A.
